Sprint is made by one person, Dan Lages. If something isn’t working, or you have a question the answers below don’t cover, write to danlages65@gmail.com.
It helps to say which iPhone and Apple Watch you have, which version of Sprint you’re on, and what you expected to happen.
Common questions
Why is there no weather on Home?
Sprint shows the weather where you are, so it needs your location while you’re using the app. Allow it in Settings on your iPhone, under Privacy & Security, or from Sprint’s own Settings, which has a Permissions page that opens the right place for you. For a past session, the weather comes from the middle of that session’s route.
Why is my readiness score missing?
Readiness needs Apple Health. Sprint reads your heart-rate variability, resting heart rate, respiratory rate and sleep from Health, so allow those in the Health app’s sharing settings.
Why does a session on my iPad have no heart-rate chart?
Your heart rate and active energy stay on the device that recorded them. They are never put in iCloud. Your iPad rebuilds them from the session’s workout in Apple Health, so it needs your permission to read Health.
Are the distances, times and wind figures exact?
No. They are estimates from your Watch’s GPS and motion sensors, and the wind comes from a weather forecast, not from an instrument beside your track. Don’t use them for a record or a competition result.
How do I get my sessions out of Sprint?
In Settings, choose Export sessions. You get a CSV file of your sprints and a GPX file of your routes.
How do I delete my data?
In Sprint, choose Settings, then Delete all data. It removes your sessions, plans and scheduled sessions from your iPhone, your Watch and iCloud. You can also delete a single session. Workouts already saved in Apple Health and events already added to your calendar stay until you delete them in those apps. The privacy policy lists what stays and why.
How do I turn off iCloud sync?
Sprint has no switch of its own for this. Turn off Sprint’s access to iCloud in Settings on your iPhone, in your Apple Account’s iCloud settings. Your sessions and plans then stay on each device separately. Copies already in iCloud stay there until you delete them, so use Delete all data first if you want them removed.
Does Sprint need an account?
No. There is no account to create and no sign-in.
